Ok well to be honest with you I have been perplexed absolutely at wits end with some of the latest happenings, posts on facebook, and distraught hatred and lack of hope and trust in God since the events of a presupposed election that didn't go the way many Bible Reading people assumed it might... I say Bible READING for a purpose... not that doubts haven't entered the mind of myself and other Christians BUT lets turn those Bible Readers into Bible Believers... GOD HAS THIS.... Think about it...
What if God wants the "CHURCH" to be shaken.... When I say the "CHURCH" I mean the presupposed church that most think of when I say CHURCH.. Those people that make a habit of going to church on Sunday and think that by inviting friends to Church that will be enough....
That's, not enough.... REALLY ITS NOT...
Haven't you learned anything from those stuffed teddy bears that may yet adorn your bedroom... and if they don't get some for you just might need to learn you are in a better place if you never outgrow that childhood bonding of love, security, and friendship... You don't get it ? well ponder the face of a poor,sick, or elderly individuals face when you share time with them.... Do you think you loved that teddy bear because of its construction, how evenly the eyes were placed, was the interior of your teddy bear fiberfill or down?, all these things didn't matter so much as to the fact that your constructed companion was there with you.... To Laugh with, cry with, squeezable, with you through situations you may not ever want to discuss.... So when People need a "TEDDY BEAR" don't hand them a Church steeple"
How did I get to this point... I know trying to figure my mind out can be a little confusing at times but hang on I am going to get this mental picture i have out to you...
I think the reason some have felt despair was because specifically certain churchgoers have lost sight of the relational functionality God intended for them... Our direction is not to worry about our life, financial security, home, wealth, money, and materialistic well being... don't lose sight of God's calling..
Luke 4:18-19

First I am going to stop on these couple of verses... I used to read this verse but today i was just struck with new discernment through a fellow christian brother.. It is even more relational than I once thought... Do you understand verse 19??? the acceptable year of the Lord... a reference to the year of jubilee.... ok so if you are not familiar with the year of jubilee I will give you a brief description:
Year of Jubilee: a year of emancipation and restoration provided by ancient Hebrew law to be kept every 50 years by the emancipation of Hebrew slaves, restoration of alienated lands to their former owners, and omission of all cultivation of the land
God is sooo relational.... here is another passage...

I have found in my personal experience with my Jesus Christ when I make it relational and look to fulfilling the calling our God has placed upon us that true freedom, joy, and less fear is there to make me distraught..
So please make Philippians 4:6,7 so real and Do not be anxious ....
Our life is not about feel good sundays for personal fulfillment while stifling the Spirit led life of interacting socially, and spiritually with ACTUAL PEOPLE that cross your path...
I urge you to start giving yourself your resources and anything that isn't nailed down for what is yours anyways... REALLY... is everything you are looking at in your room or wherever you are right now... truly YOURS???
What you see here is a boy and his surfboard.... wait did i say his.... nope not in my possession very soon for there is an amazing guy "Nick" I had the opportunity to meet who I will soon be able to give it to so that relationally we will bond through God, surfing, and friendship.. Oh yess those people that don't understand come out of the woodwork quickly with responses such as "WHAT?????" you just spent lots of money why don't you sell it and then you could take care of personal issues or YOu worked hard its not a sin to enjoy nice things .... REALLY PLEASE...... I am telling yo right now I know God makes it personally really clear LIFE ISN'T ABOUT THINGS AND BEAUTIFUL CHURCH STRUCTURES.... You find just how personal a relationship with God is when you take up HIS mission to Disciple others in Love and real relational transparency...
Pour yourself out let God fill you to pour out again... BE CRAZY maniacal for the Messiah... Its about the kingdom not OUR personal fun...
I must express just how real you can make this and when you do I promise you God will reveal himself to you in ways that you will never imagine... NEVER EVER.....jpg)
Recently I thought about this quote from the book "crazy love" as I added it to my instagram photos .... I thought hmmm how could i make this statement REAL in my life... Well I called up my ex wife and asked her literally if I could INCREASE my child support per month... Also God brought another instance of adopting an family.. This is to be anonymous but realizing God might just have me show others the REAL world application of taking Him at His word and freely LOVE others... There are many sick and oppressed that are waiting for JUBILEE... And just to let you know I am not asking for any of you to think of me in any way that would "lift me up" IT IS GODS all of it I AM GODS as well and HE is POURING HIMSELF out through me.... SO LOOK UP... Look to HIM the author and King of Everything
You want to find PEACE and Freedom ..... Cling to God and NOTHING ELSE...

God loves relationships soooo much He calls us His Bride.... The Church... "the body of believers"
HOW INTIMATE IS THAT....
This picture is of a past family torn by divorce but just to show you more transparency about me...
But the picture is to represent the beauty of the marriage and intimacy God designed as so beautiful... so wonderfully amazing that God took us as HIS Bride... Are you devoted as HIS bride... or are you like me before God truly captured my Spiritual soul..Before God became real I was very self devoted, self preoccupied, and a Bible toting man that needed God's Divine breaking of MY WILL ....
One of the best years of my life I can HONESTLY say is the year that the God used the following events to Bring MY STUBBORN BEHIND back to truth and freedom in Christ...
Mind you this happened in a little over a years time :
Back spasms unable to walk, Infidelity of my wife on a dating site unknown to me, Cancer found in my upper lip, wife divorced after moving her to Mississippi, friend taken to heaven by drunk driving accident, donated my house to bank, my cat died (long time pet see picture below) and gave the rest of my animals to shelter, moved into an apartment.
so you ask how that can be good???? Don't get me wrong... I cried huge and my selfish will was not easily broken BUT when it was it was soooooo beautifully sweet.... God showed me that I was HIS and I was Valuable to Him and His kingdom enough to Brake my Stubborn Self Will and through that I am saved not by my works of righteousness but by Jesus death on the cross and now I have the blessed opportunity to serve my Lord... SELAH
Do you realize when you focus on the KINGDOM of Jesus all that matters is how YOU and I can be used for HIS GLORY...
Lets Focus on the Hope of the Future while dying to our fleshly selfish desires to SERVE THE KING... for comfort look at these verses
Revelation 7:9-12
9 After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands.10 And they cried out in a loud voice:
“Salvation belongs to our God,
who sits on the throne,
and to the Lamb.”
11 All the angels were standing around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures. They fell down on their faces before the throne and worshiped God,12 saying:

Do you realize what this is going to be like ????? No we cant completely fathom the amazing spectacle but here is a possible glimpse
Let God Show you HOW to make it your business to do HIS WILL... you will find peace and comfort in HIS calling and focus on the HOPE of the Kingdom that is to come ..... LOVE TO ALL

I have to say mr Timothy, that every time I read your posts, they touch me so deeply..You share with us snippets of your life that make us (your blog readers) feel like we know you more and more each time we read what you share with us. And I agree about the church topic..what's going to church every Sunday but not living out the bible throughout the week. It's not going to church that makes us a better Christian. It's living out what God's word teaches..And it is so encouraging to read how God took you out of all those hard times and trials and brought you into His light again where you can smile and laugh and how you learned so much through it. I want to thank you again for such a thought felt post you shared with us today. I never tire of reading what the Lord has laid on your heart to share with us!

Rachel, you have no idea just how vital your comment was tonight for me... I was in deep prayer that I could convey God through my life as He justly deserved...
